Do I need to make a ferry reservation?
No, ferry is first-come, first-serve. You will, however, need to make a tram reservation. Trams are vehicles that takes you from the ferry to your rental home. Board the ferry from Deep Point Marina in Southport that corresponds with the time of your tram reservation.

How much luggage can I bring over?
The ferry terminal limits bags to three per person. You will be charged a fee if your luggage exceeds the limit.

We cannot guarantee rain flaps on any of our golf carts. Cary Cart Company offers covered golf carts for rent.

What do I do in an emergency situation?
Bald Head Island does have their own police station with trained staff. For emergencies, please call 911.

Does the home come with linens?
Yes, we will provide bed linens and bath towels. We will have one roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, plus a starter supply of dish and laundry soap. Beach towels are not provided.

Where do I pick up my keys?
The house will be unlocked with keys in the entryway or on the kitchen counter.

Does my home have AC?
Yes, all of our homes have air conditioning and heat.

Are there bugs on the island?
Yes, there are many types of wildlife on the island. It is possible for you to encounter these while here. All of our homes are on a quarterly pest control program.

How do I access the clubs?
Some, but not all, of the homes come with access to the clubs. If your rental home does not have access, you will not be able to use the clubs. Check your listing details for this information. If your home does have access, you will need to contact the club directly and purchase a temporary membership. We encourage doing this as soon as you book your home as the memberships do fill up.

Can dogs go on the beach?
Yes, but they need to be on a leash during turtle season: May 1- Nov 15th. There is also a dog park located on the island.

No, a valid driver's license is required to drive a golf cart.
